Any brand out there that is double din and has speaker outputs will work, you will have to bypass the factory amp which is located on the driver side in the trunk. Should not be a problem for any good stereo shop to this install. The only thing that I know is near to impossible to get to work with the aftermarket head unit are the steering wheel controls.

For steering controls ... both Metra and Midcity have working pieces.

When you install this type of head unit, will you able to use the original speakers? And what about the clock on your dash, can it be adjusted through this unit or it must be left alone?

Thanks!

Good question and the answer is yes in both cases, but it depends what the resistance of the speakers is. If the resistance is 4 ohms on the speakers then you can cut the leads from the factory amp and connects them to the radio. However if the resistance goes below 4 ohms down to 2ohms then you will need an aftermarket amp to run them. The clock issue can be resolved by leading out the connector for the power and fiber optics to the side of the counsel so once a year for daylights savings time it can be plugged in and reset to the proper time. I've done this on a customers car before and since then have not found any better solutions.
