I got a case of beer that says that 200mm pulley is more of a reality than a joke...

With ported heads, IATS will also be lower!! Large free flowing headers and exhaust also helps my IATS. So then, it may be time to look at a 200mm..j/k

Just wondering what you think could be the reasons behind it

Thanks and congrats
the cls (171mph) doesn't have a rear tank, and when running in 97 degree heat, your pretty much screwed. It is getting fitting for a trunk tank now, and should be ready to go for the october event!

curb on the E55 is 4200ish....I am pretty sure what you are looking at on the door jam is the max occupancy weight...

No problem bro. Door weight is not accurate to what the car really weighs.. I think that includes car weight plus passengers. It is more load capacity. There are several E55`s that have the same tune as me , Same general mods, that have run 10`s and make the same power. My last track weight of 4525lbs is taken on certified scales with driver in car. I do not run light rotors, light weight battery , take seats out or even run light weight wheels.. Same at the Texas mile, I drove 90 miles there, tech-ed in and raced. No tire change or anything (Just add Ice).

The E55 is the lightest of the Kompressor V8`s, then the SL55 , then CL , then S. The S and CL have extra TQ MGT built into our ECU that to be honest, SUCKS! this makes it very, very hard to even do a burn out in the water(sounds strange huh). My one run , I chanced it and ran in Manual mode , in hopes of a few more RPM on the shifts but that did not work well on that run. Then was kicked off. Tried to rent track but ran into weather issues. I just post what I have to date and that is my best ET so far but not my best possible time.

Zod very nice , but got a question

Zod, the CLS ran a best of 171 mph. The car was shipped to Texas and on a last second for pulley change and other mods. The owner asked it to be raced in the mile, as a last second choice. So, the tune was very rich (10.0 AFR range), did not have trunk tank to control IATS for a 28 second BOOST run and the CLS wind drag is worse tha the E and CL55 class. The E55 is .027 DC, CL .028 and the CLS is .032 (I think). Weight and launch control are not as big an issues in the mile, as it is in the 1/4 mile. Wind drag is the power killer over a mile.

2005 E55
My car went 11.3 and got on the scale at the track and it read 4460.I took a picture but my stupid droid corrupted the file and its not there anymore(along with about 100 more pics I had)

That was with 1/2 tank of gas and the rear tire/jack and everything out the trunk.

E55s are not light guys

edit I weight 205-215 lbs

Nice numbers for sure. I see Eurocharged as the new injector dialed in.

Yes, and the LTFT (long term fuel trims) are dead on ready to leap on the best WOT maps.

Yep, it's the gross vehicle curb rate, I too thought it meant the car was almost 3 tons, till i actually read the whole label. But I have had more than that in the car and no problems so i guess its just playing it safe.
