My E55 Has an 05 Command unit installed. All features work as if it came like that from the factory. My issues are as followed:

Music is only coming out of one channel of the car. For the longest time the Passanger side speakers (Front and Rear door as well as the center channel) were the only ones working. Drivers side doors and tweeter all inop.

I have been Fighting this problem since I bought the car last year. If anyone can lend me some usefull information that would be great.

I have Disconnected the battery
I have pulled the Audio Gateway fuse in the trunk
I have pulled the Audio Gateway fuse in the cabin
I have Swapped tweeters to check for blown speakers (still didn't work)

Last night when I pulled the Audio gateway fuse in the trunk and put it back in the weirdest thing happened, The music stopped playing out of the passanger channel, and started working out of the drivers side channel!!

If anyone has some usefull advise I'am all ears. This problem has me stumped.

Sounds like your audio gateway is ****ed. Do you have the premium audio package? If not I have an extra audio gateway

You Audio Gateway has died and you need to replace it. I have one for sale if you need it

Eeeeh the audio gateway does go bad pretty often I have seen it many times =(

Sorry, The audio gateway is in behind the left trunk liner, Behind the rear sam.
Premium audio package has the subwoofer and 2 other speakers in the rear hatshelf, as well, the audio gateway is a lot bigger. If you look on the ceiling of your trunk compartment you will be able to see if the speakers are in the hatshelf. If nothing there than you do not have the premium audio. Being that you have a 55, it most likely does have premium audio already

Do the "AMG" Screensaver mod and make sure w211 is selected!! this happened to mine What is it 8-5-7??
