With the guidance of AMG_RL, I went 3" straight pipe today.



Mufflers weigh in at 22lbs and change each.

Im also without the resonator, so it really only drones at 10% throttle at ~1800 rpm. 55mph is probably the loudest, but 60+mph and its not bad at all.

Im sure stock resonator back in would help but I dont mind it at all

ahahaha love the "sniper spot" video on the 2nd film. I can see you now setting that up then running down the stairs starting the car and taking off. Then editing 10mins out just to get one awesome 30 sec clip lol Nice car man, love what your doing with it

guess different strokes for different folks. I mean it sounds nice for a corvette or something...but its a mercedes. I want to go fast and still go to dinner with the girlfriend with a suit on...pulling up to nice restaurant and handing the keys to the valet (or maybe not...lol). Then leave dinner and blow the doors of some crazy noise maker while smoking a cigar...all in silence.

But if your happy with it...more power to ya...

I had Meisterschaft on my CLS with no res. and it sounded better and I couldnt stand it. That sounds a little rough for a Benz IMO.
