HELP! WANNA MOD MY e55
I am in miami area, my e55 is a 2005, with 45K, its a canadian model so Minus 2 catas if I am not mistaken.
I want to make it sound mean as a mota f*cka
I also want to increase acceleration
I got about 10 to 15grand... Also i have barely any knowledge in car mechanics let alone something like a german amg.
My intercooler already blew about 5k ago , had to change it
I commute 110Miles every couples days on the 95, so I am trying to get there faster.
Im really open for suggestions GUys please help me out. Because if I look at Renntech 15grand doesnt seem to get me very far.
Also I need something reliable that will not break.
Thank you in advance fellas.

Keep it simple since you commute a from time to time.....
MBH LT Headers & 3" Mid Pipe or same headers with a mid section from TT Motorsports and top it off with a tune from OE Tuning or from Eurocharged.
MBH is in Arizona , TT Motorsports is in New York , OE Tuning Southern California & Eurocharged in Texas
also change the stock mufflers to 2007-2009 E63 OEM mufflers
LT + Mid Section + ECU tune = 70hp & 70ft lbs (results may vary)
since you have already replaced the intercooler pump go ahead and upgrade your heat exchanger as well.
Good Luck!

15 grand could stage 4 one of these cars if you shop around.
You could at the very least get:
Pulley + LT's (or shorties, I love my Kleemann) + Delete everything from the headers back and some bad *** meistershaft mufflers + OE tune = 70+ hp (at least), a purely retarded amount of low end torque and a new set of rear tires within 1500 miles of new mods.
Talk about money to blow! I'm jealous...

Meisterschaft race exhaust was received on trade from forum member for stock exhaust and $800. The resonator delete, exhaust jet coated, and install was around $250 total. If bought new the exhaust is around $2800 I believe.

H/E 700$
180mm Pulley 1100$
LT headers + midpipe = max 4000$
82mm TB from TTM = less than 2000$ i think
and a great costume tune= depends on the tuner but not more than 2000$.
and if you have some $$$ left go for the CF intake. and you will be in the 650hp by bolts-on.

a larger pulley will increase the boost pressure from the supercharger, so yes it will indeed cause added strain to your motor. That being said, there are a number of guys with larger pulleys with 100k+ miles and healthy M113's
your first mod imo should focus on cooling (HE and larger pump) once that's taken care of then move onto the performance mods which others have mentioned earlier

I have the latest oem mercedes pump and I have kleemann tuning(ecu tune).
I picked up 2mph from the renntech box and the ttm are intake scoops the direct air into the intake.
