Nutty deal on the new Bosch pump!
Just ordered one, I confirmed the numbers with the vendor.. It is indeed the 0392022010 pump (updated, better flowing pump). $132 shipped!

Right on. A couple weeks later the website (not ebay) said in stock and I ordered. It arrived, but cost more than this one. Has been out of stock ever since. Nice find Tony!

Alright, dumb question: If your car isn't exhibiting any intercooler pump related issues, why exactly is this one better? Does it just flow a bit more? Is it enough to actually notice a difference?

Its suppose to be better flowing... I figured might as well do a little maintenance work and replace the ic pump as I have had the car for a year.

Sucks to hear about the 335! That car looks real good. Especially for a lady driver!
Now you got another issue to take care of lol.

Hope thats true, I was happy my tire lived too, until I was selling them and found out the inside tirewall was eaten from the damaged rim (500miles on tires).
Back on topic, anybody looking for a pump should really JUMP on this deal. This correct pump is a PITA to find and about 1/3 of dealer cost!

To be 100% honest, Its the easiest DIY ever, believe me. I have done it twice. Just pm me if you need something.
ehhh, hard to say really, yes it flows a LITTLE bit better so, I guess your IATs will drop 1*.. lol but at least it wont die.
You wont. I have done this twice, and it really is actually easy enough to do with 2 hands. I had help the first time but just to find the drain plug (under front cover above weird bracket.) then there on it was a 1 hour job with tons of spare time. and man, from a dead non updated version to a new updated pump, there was MUCH difference to be noted.

depends, can you plug the line before draining or do you have something to drin into? the plug is in a spot where a hose will not fit over the plug so if you have old coolant, why not replace it. I bought 2 gallons (only needed 1 with a 50/50 mix of water as described on bottle and still have some left) from the dealer for a little bit more than $40.

This might be a dumb question but does that pump fit on the w211 e55. Im in the market for one since mine failed on me. If that's the one I need that is a nutty deal. And yup those white beasts are a pretty site.

This is the correct pump.
I called a local Mercedes shop curious to see what they'd charge. $300 LOL. Poor suckers that go there. I may just get this done under warranty, just trying to avoid bringing my very modded E for warranty work so some dick doesn't void it.

Lol true true, I did the supercharger clutch, and once I was done, and took the beast for a short drive it felt good to know I did the work and saved $1000 LOL.
