What are the color options? Like a standard black color or paint matched? Thanks

I would honestly expect these to made of black plastic. I don't know of any years, that had anything other than black fog surrounds, so why would this be an issue?

Send me the trims and I will make a mold. Produce several carbon fiber grills for exclusivity.

Ok folks, I am in contact with a company that is interested in producing/selling to the E55 and E63 family. The kit will come with grill inserts/DRL Unit/ Wiring harness, and DRL module. I am doing my best to keep cost down and hopefully nowhere near Wald price. I do believe that the demand is high enough to convince their company's president to give the green light. Keep your fingers crossed...

The hell with it… I made my own. Black mesh grills, LED. I think it turned out great. Subtle and looks like very stock.

Actually the deletion of the fogs make the scoops look really big. Almost like a black series on a smaller scale of course. I will post pics shortly.

Anyone want to lend a pair of the Walds? I could scan them and then have a third party company make a 3d print reproduction.

I'm about to install the Wald's LED can someone who's installed these help me out? I'm having issues mounting the LED to the actual housing. I can't understand the instructions. It seems like it shows you to just screw the LED's to the upper porttion of the housing but that would come out the other side and won't slide into the bumper without dragging and scratching the paint up. If someone could assist it would be greatly appreciated.

For anyone wondering I got it on Buyee.jp for approx $400 all said and done.

It's been a long time for mine but you have to cut out the fog light housing, LED's slide into the slot and you screw it in. Mine wasn't a perfect fit so I used some tape so hide the visible gap.. Instructions are all in Japanese so good luck there.

You need to cut out a portion of the fog light bracket from your bumper, just as LemonSqueezy mentioned. I am currently installing my Wald LEDs, so I took a picture for you. My bumper isn't OEM though. It's the suvneer E63 bumper.

****WALD DRL LED set up for e63*****-20160628_111930.jpg

Notice the two holes on top of the Wald fog light housing. Your Led light will bolt right up with these holes. Trim your bumper accordingly for fitment. Don't forget to test fit your led lights in the actual Wald housing. I had to sand down a few spots on mine. I hope this helps. Good luck
