Hey guys and a gal or two,
I used the search function and found lot's of threads on what to do to deal with the red battery warning light on my display.
I opened the trunk and found the voltage at 12.7. Popped the hood, took the 10 mm nut off the cabin filter housing and found the auxiliary battery voltage at 10.6 = bad auxiliary battery.
I shopped around town for a 14bs replacement. Walmart was $65 (no warranty) Autozone $80 or sealed gel for $102 and then I went to Just Batteries on hwy 150. They had two models, the platinum, made in the good ole USA for $54 or a chinese made one for $42 (both have 6 month warranty).
I sprung for the platinum, because that's how I roll.
Super easy install because "Just Batteries" fills and charges their batteries. It took 5 minutes to fix.

you should check too if you charging module didn't fail. i had that fail on me and replace charging module,aux and main battery

I don't think I'm going. I do a radio show in Statesville and have commitments there. I really wanted to go but can't.

i hear you brother... congrats on the cheap fixed..... too bad mine turned out to be the alternator...oh well
