Vredstein Tires: Bad Experience

Received my wheels and tires last week and had them mounted last Friday. On my way home from the doctors office today, the right rear tire went flat. Luckily, I felt it before it went completely flat and ruined my wheel. I've only put 50-60 miles on these wheels and tires and the tire can't be patched. Theres a small cut on the first tread on the outer wall. I called Peter at ACG and he offered no help except to purchase another tire. Thanks Peter!

Wow, sorry to hear about your experience. Mine is just the opposite, almost 12000 miles on mine and the wear has been minimal, which is unusual for performance tires and my driving style. I hope you can get it replaced under warranty.

Ok, thanks for the replies. Just wanted to see if these tires are good, probably just a freak occurrence. Peter from ACG said they don't offer a warranty nor did he offer one when he sold them to me so looks like I'll be buying a new tire.

contact vredstein directly and document the damaged tire, if it was a defective tire they should give you another one or at the very least credit you the cost of another tire. FWIW I've run hankook's on most of my cars, the EVO V12's are great tires for the price and they are easy to deal with when it comes to warranty issues.

For the price and performance in both dry and wet conditions, nothing, absolutely nothing can touch the Hankook Ventus V12 Evo.
