Coolant question

Drained coolant out of my car it was green. Got new coolant from Benz and it's pink!? They said they only have the one kind for all cars.

Is that true? Should it be pink not green?

Thanks

Pink is for Aluminum blocks and green is cast iron/alm heads.

pink is better since our cars is all alum.
In warm area you can use water with water wetter added. Do not use pure water as the seals need to be lubricated.

MB used to use BLUE coolant at one point. My moms 2005 c240 has blue coolant and it's NEVER been serviced until I drained it a few weeks ago. Crazy stuff.

My car had brownish/greenish coolant...now it has pinkish/orange.

Whatever we're tuning!
MB uses blue from the factory. If it is blue that means it has never been changed!

Brake fluid should be done every 2 years or 20K. These are incredible brake systems and need their proper maintenance.

Late post here, guessing you already got all the info you need, but the color of coolants change often. Just a marketing thing. As long as its not looking black or sludge colored you are fine. Changing is CRITICAL.

Our mercedes uses a light pinkish almost clear antifreeze, who ever filled up your car last time used the wrong coolant. This is the new color from the dealer, however the stock coolant that our cars came with was blue.

Blue it's now officially blue. They no longer carry pink. Last time I did my coolant was in 2010. Coolant was pink. Changed my coolant today and the MB HEAD PARTS ADVISER told me himself that there was a upgrade in the coolant. It went from blue to pink. Keep in mind IF YOU DID A JOB IN YOUR CAR THAT INVOLVED LOOSENING COOLANT HOSE(which means a little coolant will leak. IT IS OK TO ADD THE BLUE COOLANT ONTO THE PINK ONE. No harm at all
