it makes complete sense. Any sort of forced induction requires MORE air as boost or vacuum increases to keep afr's in check. The same phenomenon seen on turbo cars is seen on sc'ed cars aswell. My 35r'ed STi was being chocked by a 65mm inake, switing to a 75mm yielded 8whp gain.

Supercharged car (not just E55) are extremely sensitive to inlet restriction. Cobra guys can pick up 25+ hp on a aftermarket intake.
Have you looked at the factory scoops? There a joke at best.

Your lack of comprehension is mind boggling.

By diverting more air to the intake tubes you are increasing the quality of the air as well as the volume accessible to that helluva vacuum caused by the supercharger.

Comprende amigo?

I can see what you mean now, but unless your scoops replace the whole factory intake behind the grill, then there would be other areas of restriction that would not allow these scoops to work to their full potential. such as the DS intake snorkel, airbox, hell, even the very opening behind the grill is pretty restrictive.

Nope 21.. How old are you? Your lack of correct English is actually the pathetic part.. I love it how you make about 5 new threads a day on topics that have already been covered... I look forward to each new day and another mind numbing thread that you create (thats the only way I can get through my day ) So keep it up and by the end of this you may actually be able to make a decision for yourself.. I know thats something new to you..

Folks, it takes two to tango. Get off each other's case. Don't continue to escalate this, and use the ignore button if you must.
