Grudge match...

Just looking for opinions...

I have a buddy of mine who I typically do runs with, he owns a 2005 C6 vette: his mods are as follows

Torque converter, corsa rear exhaust, CF ram air intake, ecu tune... On order is Kooks long tubes with true x-pipe, ported intake manifold and throttle body and of course a re-tune

I currently have a 05 E55 with EC stage 1 w/ 180 pulley, PLM HE, Johnson pump, filters, and straight pipes in place of resonators... Soon will have both cats deleted as well as EC long tubes and a updated EC tune

As we are now he's all mine up to around 120/130 mph then we are even

My question is, will my LT's balance out his mods? He will have around 500chp in a 3,300 pound car

We are both getting baseline dyno's done next monday morning before the mods go on and will post videos of us having fun after the tunes

If I could ask one favor, heat the tires up and do a run from a dig. Those are the more dramatic runs with our cars. That TC mod he has should have him spinning hard off the line on pavement. Practice a few launches and you can really do some damage. These 2 ton boats just SQUAT on the rear tires with proper launch...its magic.

From a roll I just dunno, heat soak, outside temp...so many factors with our cars.

Also wouldn't kill ya to throw in some Sunoco 100/104 mix (unleaded of course) and run the car for a good 50 miles with it so the car can adapt.

Good luck!

OH and long tubers add a good 50hp....for real.

30-40wheel. Long tubes a VERY good mod to have before running him!
