So who all are running Braille No Weight Battery

Since my battery is on the way out, I wanted to replace it with something light. I daily drive my car so I was wondering if the Braille B3121 will do the job.
Any input is welcome.

I have them in stock but I wouldn't recommend it as a battery that is used daily. It is a great option for the track but it has a very low reserve capacity. If you want one I can get one out to you within 24 hours. 3121 and 2015 is in stock. We are in the middle of making a Mercedes Benz specific mounting kit for the 2015 that will easily install using all the factory Mercedes Benz mounts.

What he said... I haven't heard many good things about these in a street car. If you want to lighten up the battery and still be able to crank the car reliably I'd suggest getting an Optima.

It's about half the weight. And I've been using them for years. I have one in my streetrod right now. It's a tiny 925 and it starts a high compression 327 NO PROBLEM. And I have cooling fans this is runs sometimes for as long as 15
minutes after I shut the car off.

I posted a couple pics of it on this thread https://mbworld.org/forums/w211-amg/...preciated.html

How about Volt Phreaks? I know not too many people like them because of the high price, but supposedly they make really nice batteries, and I think they are one of the lightest ones on the market. This is their Race batteries...

VPH300: for motorcycles, small 4 cylinder engine cars, replaces PC680, etc
Weight: 2.5 pounds
Price: $769

VPH450: for 4-6 cylinder engines, replaces PC680, etc
Weight: 3.75 pounds
Price: $929

VPH750: for 4-8 cylinder engines, replaces PC925, PC1200, etc
Weight: 5.5 pounds
Price: $1299

VPH900: for 6-12 cylinder engines
Weight: 7.25 pounds
Price: $1459

Their Endurance VPR line is supposedly good for every day driving and is still light-weight. This is from their website... "Our "VPR" series batteries below are designed for endurance use (higher capacity), and made to fit standard battery sizes. Higher quality parts are used throughout. All cases are custom designed for lightest possible weight while fitting the required size. "

VPR-P6: Replaces Odyssey PC680, but as powerful as Odyssey PC1200
Weight: 5.5 pounds
Price: $1699

VPR-P9: Replaces Odyssey PC925, but with more power and capacity
Weight: 9 pounds
Price: $2189

VPR-S30: Replaces Enersys SBS30, Varley Red Top 30
Weight: 7.75 pounds
Price: $1899

VPR-S40: Replaces Enersys SBS40, Varley Red Top 40
Weight: 9.25 pounds
Price: $2099

VPR-S40P: Same dimensions as SBS40 except wider (4.25" versus 3.8"), more Amp-Hour capacity than SBS60 at 1/3 the weight
Weight: 13.75 pounds
Price: $2829

Optima Batteries

Another option is the Optima Batteries.

I have the red top and have been very satisfied with them now for years. Aga just another option. You might have to call them for your application since it's not listed.
