Help! Need advice...
Ok guys I need some advice here. I have the opportunity to buy a 2004 E55 with about 60,000 + miles. Seller bought it from this forum . We are negotiating on price. It was supposed to have a warranty but it does not. Originally wanted 28,500 with warranty. Now he wants 27,000. There are some mods on the car. it is a blacked out E55 used to belong to a member on here called Getz55 and then ghostTek. I offered 26,000 and thing that is fair but I guess I would like to know what you all think. Is this a good deal at 27,000? Cheers
This from Edmunds.com and I consider their TMV to always be a bit on the high side :
(this is factoring in the mileage, clean condition, and standard e55 options, but NOT the mods)
True Market Value®
Trade-in-------------- $20,212
Private Party Sale------$22,341
Dealer Retail----------- $24,816

if i remember correctly,Florida car, this was owned by 4-5 peeps already before the last person bought it. Sure went through alot of hands, i debated and passed on it, even though it looked really nice blacked out.

Make sure the car is in right condition specially the mod one. Whats the selling reason after not owning for so long ? I have mine for more than 2 years, not even thinking selling it ! in fact, just bought other E55 W210.....
anyways, if the car is well taking care, the money is worth it but if any problem with the mod, don't even touch it. For me, its not a question of price, its more the car condition. When i saw my W211 and W210, i didnt even think negotiate the price again. GLWB !
