Opinions on value
Hey guys, have an 06 with 36k miles, pano, seat pkg, rear shade, not in perfect shape (scrape on the bumper) but overall pretty good (SRS light just came on as well).
Brought it to a dealership where they told me they'd give me $28,700 towards a trade. Wondering if this is fair?
Have CL65 wheels with new tires (under 500 miles) which I'd be looking to swap for stock E55 wheels and $2,000. Wondering if you guys think that's a reasonable deal also.
Also have max-care Chrysler warranty until 3/16/2015 which I would cancel and receive the pro-rated balance.
So the question is, try and sell the car for $28,700+$2,000+$2,200 = $32,900? Or take the trade and run?
Really looking towards taking the trade if I can find someone who would swap wheels and also if I could get everything repaired (SRS light and anything else they find) under warranty and then cancel the contract, dont know if thats allowable though.

Whats the car you gonna trade ? not only the value your car to trade in, also depend the price you gonna pay for the new car. They can just raise the price in the other one to make it look good to trade in your car. What car and what price ?

I put the car up for sale about a month before I purchased the warranty, forget what I had it listed at, got the warranty and then felt comfortable driving it again.
I think I'm going to take the trade, anyone getting rid of oem 55 wheels?

I would think it is not worth the hassel of people calling all day, coming to your house, wanting to drive it blah blah blah. That is a pretty strong trade number.

don't forget that in most states, when you trade a vehicle in, you only pay tax on the difference in value of the 2 cars.
That will add about about $1,400 or so to the trade offer.
