****HELP A BROTHA OUT****
I've just been informed that my Mercury Platinum Warranty DENIED my front right airmatic strut.

I am at the mercy of the forum, what the hell do I do?? They say that struts are not covered. I paid an arm and a leg for the thing and it's been great but I am in shock that they denied it. Does this sound accurate to you guys??
Is there a way to submit the claim to have them cover the part?? Can I argue with them??
I know people are getting them from Parts.com, any other sources for the part??????

guess it's time to read the fine print before we sign up to spend thousands in the event of breakage.
Do they wear out? Sure. But so does your engine, tranny, and just about every other thing in the car.

i replaced the front air bags on my mothers allroad and they are great parts, now they came out with a newer version, let us know how they are.

Arnott only sells rebuilt front struts and not any rears. Eventually the rears will go out too, and they're even more $$.
Maybe shop for an all-inclusive warranty (if the Mercury has a pro-rated refund policy and you can get your money back.)For people still under factory warranty that are about to expire, the MBUSA extended warranty covers everything (it's just an extended factory warranty) and also does refunds if you later don't want it anymore. The cost isn't much more than the aftermarket ones since there are MB dealers who sell them with pretty decent discounts over retail.
