TIME FOR WHEEL SWAP
Gents,
I got OEM stockers primed and ready for paint. The wheels were generously sanded and sprayed with Duplicolor self etching primer.
My proposal: I will trade for a set of stock wheels with stock silver color. If you've been thinking of painting your wheels, trade for these. I will paint these wheels ANY color you want. I will even pay for the paint and make sure they are done as well as any shop; satisfaction GUARANTEED.
I have 4 cans of Duplicolor Matte Black paint, and 1 can of duplicolor clear finish. I was going to spray them matte black and just roll on them but if there's anyone out there that was toying with the idea of spraying their wheels, I can save you about $80 in supplies and about 4 hours labor.
Let me know!!

These are OEM E55 18' wheels.
I am spraying them matte black but the offer still stands.
I realized that the only color that makes sense was black. lol

Bro I swear keep em stock. Do this, give one of your buddies your car and ask him to drive past you; look at the beauty. Then, face him diagonally and have him drive at you from an angle where you can see the wheels. HOT.
If that doesn't change your mind, you can do them satin. Just spray them matte and use a gloss clear coat. The matte will blend nice with the clear on top and while they will remain "matte", they will reflect light in a very cool way. That's what I did and I'm very happy with the results.
If you use a rattle can on yours, dont sand them prior, just use a primer. If you sand them, you've ruined the wheels should you ever want to go back to stock. By using a primer, you can probably soak them in some paint thinner and just wipe off the different coats of primer/paint/clear...
Still tho, keep em stock!

Just to be clear, I love the way my wheels came out. My ride is silver and the black wheels pop. On your beautiful black 63, I would not change a thing.
Wanna trade cars?

sure looks good w/the new black wheels. How long did it take you to prep (sand, prime) per wheel? Wondering if i should do these with my wheels myself instead of sending them out to be done.

Hey man, you just joyride my car on the track and baby yours; NOT cool maan!
Pcoat-durability for sure
Plasti dip- finish
Duplicolor- Inexpensive, DIY, I would say "B+" results
YES!
It took no time at all, and was cheap! I spent about $80 in supplies and it did take about 5 hours total labor (1.5 days for letting them dry). If you have a set of beater wheels I would 100% recommend it. If you have a nice expensive set however, I would send them out to be professionally done.
