It's a shame that the audio has been removed.

Although, that ended up being a good thing as you used to run across videos with cars you were looking forward to hearing, yet all you got to listen to was some stupid song.

I saw this after I purchased my 55, thereby thwarting the dreaded "buyer's remorse!" This video and the one with the two E55's running 10xx only hundreds of a second apart made me go <keanureeves> Whoa <keanureeves>

I remember everyone talking about an E55 that was running 10s all day long & it was his daily driver. i could not just would not believe it was true.
Well as it turned out it was true & the car actually ended up running in the 9s just before he sold it.

There has been an E55 in the 9's? Any proof?

I saw the videos of Jesus' E55 back in the day and knew some day I had to have one of those beasts. The day has come.

Your talking about Derek's run, he was the 1st to run 10's and he kind of paved the way for the rest of us but even that run was done after the video that I posted. He ran against Amen and for some reason when Derek crossed the line he tripped both timing lights both Derek & Amen think that Amen must have run high 11's.

9's??? I've never heard of Rflow running 9's. I believe his best run was 10.74 w NOS & Wayne aka ChicagoX ran 10.70 w NOS as well. Alan is the only NON NOS E55 to run 10.77.

anyway my point to my original post was regarding the stock E55 putting down against a modified Cobra. It was such a big deal some 4-5yrs ago that Jesus and the Cobra driver raced again and they made a second video and this time the cobra was ready the owner went and purchased new drag radials and then lost the 3rd race as well not until the 4th race did the cobra put up a good race and depending on camera angle & spot of finish line its a debate over who won the last race.

Sorry no proof on my end it could just be a great urban legend on the streets of Miami. Anyway this was a very long time ago and regardless he was on the fore front of game with the E55 along with a few other guys at that time.
