New to this forum (have a few questions)

Hey everyone, I purchased a 2003 e55 earlier this year because I've always wanted to own one someday. After driving around the for about half a year and getting used to all the power, I just recently upgraded the pulley(175mm) and did the tune from a local shop near my house, called Singh Autosport. As recommended by this shop, I also upgraded the intercooler pump to the Johnson CM30, and changed the stock air filters to K&N. I have not gotten the car dynoed yet, but was wondering what kind of numbers would it put down? And am I headed in the right path as far as moding the car? If so, what should my next mod be? Thanks for the help in advance.

Power gains with pulley, filter, and tune...maybe 35-45hp/40-45ft-lbs

Mods to consider...

1. Secondar heat exchanger
2. Lighter wheels
3. Lighter rotors
4. 80mm throttle body
5. Long tube headers
6. New tune

I think they would be a little higher than that, at the wheels.

Headers are a huge gainer on these cars. Average 40 wheel with long tubers.

Proven on the dyno.

with a bigger pulley it's always a good idea to back up the added hp with cooling mods, and since you already have the pump get a HE to keep your IAT's down. Long tubes are are a excellent mod aswell and like jackpro stated 40-50whp gains. If you look at the log type stock headers you can see how restictive they really are.

Anyone else with a SinghAutoSport tune?

I have an e63 NA looking for a tune and as of now going with OE waiting to get back home to send my ECU out. Never seen anyone using this tuning company on here...any feed back...

OE tuning is one of the main tuning companies to go to with our cars...you're in good hands.

Sorry to bring this back up, but how much more power do you really make at the wheels from the pulley and tune. Since I was getting different answers, I was confused...Also, I am looking into getting a HE. How much does this mod cost to get? And will this mod stop the car from getting heat soaks? . Lastly, I also want to upgrade to the LT headers. How much would a set go for?? Thanks in advance

You should be around 475 at the wheels with a pulley and tune.. A new HE shouldnt be more than $500 and will help considerably with keeping the cool down.. Eurocharged is actually having a sale on an upgraded HE, so you may want to jump on that.. LTs are usually around $2000 or more, depending on which company you go with.. Hope this helps

Wow, thanks a lot AKnight55. This really cleared things up for me and I am currently talking to jerry@eurocharged about the HE. Also I wanted to know if there are any LT on the market that relatively keeps the car quiet as I don't want the car to be loud at all and will I pass smog with the LT's?? Thanks
