I play alot of golf tournaments so I am always on the highway. And since I bought the E55, I look forward to the long drives. (I'm used to the ones I hit, 300 all day).
Anyways, I was minding my own when I saw... a vette. Not just any vette either. That sucker was a ZR1.
My car is not modded, YET! It does have E63 smoked tail lights, black tint, Flat black grille, wheels and emblems. So I was curious to see what he would do when he saw my car.
We were going around 75mph when he saw me and moved over to let me get beside him. Now, I know that that car can smoke my stock E55, but what happened next was "priceless".
He looked down at the V8 Kompressor and looked up smiling. So... I drop gears and floored it.(on the highway I'm always in manual) He did the same, and we were off. I was in the open lane so I got a little jump, but he closed that quick. We were going 150mph and he was up my ***. I even think he tickled me alittle bit. I kept thinking, Damn that thing's fast and then I saw it.... and what I saw had me rolling!
I looked in the rear view again and saw this guys wife slapping him repeatedly and yelling. Then just that quick he hit his brakes so hard she went forward and into the seatbelt, and the went back to the speed limit. So I slowed down to see what happened and she was still yelling at him.
Poor guy couldn't even have a little fun!
I just thought I would share this with you all, since there has been alot of people on here saying the can't find any one to play with. I always seem to have fun.

The only car I don't mess is ZR1 they are Crazy fast !!!

 

My chick is the opposite. If I dont bite onto a potential thrill ride and the guy pulls off Ill get beat for not running him.She is a gear head like myself. I dont think my E63 would even see the tai lights of that ZR1 but I would try just for some fun. I sure miss both my supras for highway pulls.

I didn't post the fact that my wife was slapping me as the E55 blew past me like I was standing still. I don't think she knew how fast we were really going as when she asked I told her 90 but really we were doing over 120.

I am SOOOO impressed with the E55's pull at speeds of 100+, just unreal

Thats a funny story, my wifes is the same way. Anytime I have any fun in my car she go ballistic. Starts swearing like a sailor and tells me to that sh*t when I'm by myself. Can't help it LOL!

 

What a funny story!!! My wife is very anti racing and says dont do it when she sees another car check the 55 out and wants to race.

 

My wife would be yelling at me that she wanted to drive.

My wife is all good with me running cars with her in the car as long as there is no turns.. and not coming up on traffic.

 

Wife loves off the light kills as much as me. Hates high speeds so if the job ain't done by 90ish, shut er down.

 

That's exactly how my wife is. But I think she would rather be the one driving. Lol
