With star you can rear vital engine parameters. For example you can see knock on each cylinder, flow in each injector etc etc

p.s. when lowering, should the front be the same height from the get go? When i look at my car sometimes, seems driver side is lower. So my question is.....when i get into the system will it say i am off by x.xx amount?
You can go to actual values so you will see if is kinda level, but you are supposed to level it while you lower it, the surface needs to be as straight and level as possible.

ohh okay got it! so when i get into the system it will tell me off the bat if it was level....i have links on them now, just want to go a tad bit lower in the rear

Hey guys

I got my DAS Developer key to work. I now have the DAS developer mode. My system, when I got it did not have developer mode. You need to get a Key to activate it. However, when I try to transfer the coding for VMax=300. I get the following error ... Anyone seen this? I managed to set Rest of The World OK. For the Keyless GO reminder, I did not have to set it. Setting to Rest of The world just seemed to turn it off. I guess the rest of the world doesn't want that reminder either Any thoughts on this error message? Thanks!

I can't even get there...after I click on 211.....gives me faulty errors....i just plug everything in and did it from there....am i supposed to do something prior to this?

If your serial port is USB to serial, that is likely your issue. I encountered the exact same issue when I used a USB to serial converter. Some people have reported some success with certain converters, I have not. If you can hear relays clicking on and off in the scanner, you're in good shape (as far as serial port is concerned).

Otherwise, it is likely that your serial port settings are not set up correctly.

yeah i have the USB to serial...which shardul told me same thing...I just ordered new HDD and IBM laptop for $70 off eBay!

Cool .. well don't buy too cheap of a laptop. Depending on how you are running the SDS. If you are using VMWARE, an old laptop will be super slow. If you are using direct install to the laptop as a dedicated machine, you should be fine.

got the IBM T30 and shardul hooking me up with a direct HDD so would be good!

Would you know the DIY for gallons left and rain sensing windows?

i'm pretty sure you can change that in the settings on the cluster. on my old 2004 CLK I could change between scrolling through presets and radio tuning.

Is there ANYTHING that Shardul doesn't know ? LOL ... Yeah you'll be in good shape. Do you have install discs? I am looking to reinstall or upgrade mine. Mine is 2009 version and looks quite a bit different from Gus' ... I see some pre/post cat O2 sensor stuff in the menus ... might need those for my headers that are coming! I'm still learning the system. Quite a lot more stuff to tweak than BMWs GT/Progman systems! It's pretty intimidating!

I am running as Virtual Machine ... but I can do either or both ... if I have the install files. I have had to do it multiple times with BMW stuff ... BMWs are harder to install for sure since they run Linux SCO as base on the older GT1s and XPe on later Progman. This should be cake on Windows!

Not to say something but I thought the point of this thread was so it didn't turned like the old one, to much gibberish and not enough info. All I'm saying is, it would be better to keep the thread cleaner than what it is now.
