Everyone-

Thanks for the kind words. Iam trying out some C/F now so we will see how it works out. I highly recomend painting the covers, and re coating the blower to anyone. It really cleans it up big time!! Thanks all.

Did you pull the entire blower off to have it coated? I'm looking to do the same thing but just cant find the strength to remove the blower just to coat it and I think it will be a big pain

That looks awesome, what were the products that you used to paint the blower? Did you paint in on with a brush or was it sprayed on? Sorry about the questions, but it looks awesome and I want to see if it's some thing I can do myself.

How did you heat up the ceramic paint on the blower to cure it.. um.. never mind.

What kind of comments do you get on your calipers. I think yellow is the best choice (non-silver) for Tektite. Pictures just can't give me a feel, although I think I like it.... We have such awesome (looking) calipers, it is a shame to camouflage them in silver.

I used VHT high tem ceramic coating in Silver.

And as far as the calipers they reallly set the car off. I love them

[QUOTE=Evolved8;4763049]Decided to get the engine covers painted Tectite Grey, James hooked it up with some Billet Pullies, and i had the surge tanks powdercoated to match my calipers, High tem ceramic coated the blower as well as replacing the star with an AMG badge..

Looks great....and familiar

Love the yellow! One of the nicest bays out there.
Not sure why folks don't do these mods more. It's a simple afternoon and the blower looks SO cool when finished, really takes the bay to a whole new level of design.

BT then again, as some of my friends say..its just an engine. Dorks.

I had my local body shop paint match them to the color of the car

Awesome! Do you know where I can get a replacement emblem or where you got your AMG?

What do you guys think??
My S belt broke and knocked my emblem cover off. I need a replacement. Original or like yours. Can you help? I am selling my E55 but need that replaced first. Thank you
