Just changed back from 2004 to 2003 model
Well, after driving the E55 at the AMG Challenge, I realized I couldn't wait until October. After thinking long and hard, I decided on leasing the car on the business and decided not to wait. My dealer moved me back up the cue and now I expect a late June/early July build date. Now allthat's left to do is change my signature.

I bonded with the regional sales rep for MB at the amg challenge and all of a sudden an additional allocation slot opened up for me. MB holds at least one or two vehicles up per month for each region to accomodate VIP's, dealer screw ups, or brown-nosers like me.
Yesterday I put the order through with panorama and solar panels, then drove my car with the sunshade open and moonroof closed and felt major heat from the sun beating down on me. I almost always drive with it closed anyway. I called the dealer and cancelled these options immediately. Then it dawned on me, why pay an additional 1500 dollars for the nonopening rear moonroof when the front moonroof is standard. I think the panorama roof is worthwhile on a non AMG E series car since the front moonroof is an expensive option anyway.

Probably with the heat/humidity in south Florida, you're better off without the panorama roof.
