I washed mine out with the KN filter cleaning kit. Let them dry, spray on the KN OIL, wipe excess, let dry and put in. Immediately I noticed better throttle response, and the SC whine was louder...

its just the same wheels that I've had..the 19" E63 reps..I just got a chance to lower the car so thats why it may have looked different haha

installed the K&N filters this past weekend. There wasn't any noticeable change in the volume of the supercharger whine.

I didn't notice any sound change either, but I definitely noticed an improvement in throttle response.
