Maybe a trunk intercooler tank is in order.

I'm thinking about buying it you think but don't you think the small reservior in the engine bay would do the job just as good?

If you're going to do any kind of racing I would suggest a trunk tank. Ice it down before a run and you're golden.

Just ordered a trunk fish tank from Shardul! I couldn't resist after this whole cooling situation I just encountered.

Nice!!
Can you log your IAT's after you get it installed? Would be very curious what they read.

Nice You won't be disappointed. Only other suggestion I would have is to buy the best coolant lines you can get, as in certain places they will be near a hot exhaust.

Thanks for the tips guys. Now I just have to buy all the little parts that are needed to install this tank. Thanks Shardul for directing me to the right pump i need for the inside of the tank.

I would go for the rear tank. Shouldn't do a job twice! I think the BMW reservoir is neat and works but the rear tank is where its at!

with the rear tank the rear tank there is no need for a bmw reservior since the system will be isolated from the engine cooling circuit. the fill point will be the rear reservior and it will be a self bleeding system

Cant wait either! My car runs like it has 20 more whp now by wiring pump to run all the time and adding water wetter.
