Sorry,but have to do it...
I do appologize, but I have to say this to all members that have any children. No matter how old they are. Take this moment and give them an extra hug or kiss. You will never know when it will be the last.
Today makes three years since I lost my baby girl. Her name was Essence Jazmine Young. At the time she was the youngest of five kids and our last. My wife finnaly had her daughter. That was all she wanted, a little girl she could dress up and mold into a beautiful woman. Well, it did not work out that way. She had 12 days until her first birthday when we lost her. And nothing will can bring her back. And nothing can fill that hole in our hearts.
Please, take alittle more time with them and cherish those moments alittle bit more. It's always worth it. That smile on their face, the way you make them laugh, is well worth the lasting memories you will have of them.
We now take alot more time with our kids. We try to take them everywhere we can. We also have had two more children since then. We have another little boy (2) and we now have a new little girl (4months). We have a 13 year old girl(from my ex), 12 year old boy (from her ex), 8 year old boy (from my ex), and 5 year old boy (together). All of our children are the reason we have made it through this tragedy.
Remember, Life is not fair. And it can all change in the blink of an eye. So enjoy your family, enjoy life, and especially let your chidren enjoy their life.
Once again, I do appologize! Im not trying to bring any one down or make any one feel sorry for me. This is just something I do from time to time to honor my daughter's memory. No parent should ever out live their children.
Thanks for reading!

I'm sorry for your loss but because of it your words have a strong impact on me as a father of three myself. I couldn't agree with you more about enjoying every moment possible with your family!
Also, congratulations on the newest members of your family. I'm sure that the spirit of Essence lives on through all of them.

Thank you for sharing.
I was thinking about my kids today in a similar way. I have been traveling a lot lately, and was thinking how I should be spending more time with them. I can not imagine your situation. My heart goes out to you.

God I can't even imagine what you and your family had to go through. My wife is currently about 4 months pregnant, on August 22 we find out if it's a boy or a girl. I've began to be attached to the baby and we are still far from the due date, so I can't imagine what it's like to lose a baby you got to hold in your hands. I feel for you man. So sorry for your loss.

David from The Good Book lamented over losing his child regardless of how it was sired. "He cannot come back to me, but I WILL go and be with him eventually"
Will be offering up prayers for you and your wife in these hard few days of memories coming up.

As a new father with a little boy of just over 2 months, I can truly feel for you now. I can't even imagine going through what you and your family went through. Enjoy all the moments with the rest of your family!

Thanks for sharing RedBull.
Tomorrow morning we bury my wife's mother, who loved our 10-month-old (her grandson) with all of her heart. A year-long battle with cancer ended more suddenly than I think anyone expected.
There is no joy quite like seeing the little guy recognize my face and smile from ear to ear. I love and appreciate every day we have with him. My mother-in-law's struggle makes it so clear that we never know when our time will be. There's no such thing as telling someone you love them too often.
At the same time, it's the most terrible thing that my wife's grandmother has outlived her first daughter. No parent should ever have to bury their child. I only pray that I'm able to live long enough that my son becomes an independent man, and that I go before he does, however long that might be.
May the vitality and innocence of Essence live on in your hearts and always remind you what really matters in life!

My wife and I welcomed our first (and only) child into the world 6 months ago.... And it has been a huge and wonderful reminder of what is truly important in life.
