i think i have a set of V8 KOMPRESSOR make me an offer. They are about 100 bucks a side at the dealership

no they are chrome. i could paint them but it will take a lot of time to prep since double sided tape has to be removed from the back. then the glue has to be cleaned then new tap has to be put. it is a very time intensive job since the contact area is very small.

I don't really know why MB did that except as a throwback to the 300SEL 6.3. Then, to top it off, the aftermarket continues the trend with this badge. It really doesn't make sense.
