The installation if pretty involved as I'm sure you already know. My concern is that I don't want to be anyone's "experiment car".... I'm not looking for a deal, it's much more important that it be done correctly.

I just don't want to have to drive all the way down to NY or NJ for the installation if there's a way to avoid that.

As far as I know.....

I trust Bruce 100% to do the installation, no question. And I know it would do done right.

The problem is that it's a 5 hour drive..... then about 7 - 8 hours of install time, assuming he has NO other cars in the shop (which never happens) and that his phone doesn't ring with customer calls (also never happens!)

Even in the best-case scenario, I'd be driving down the night before.....grabbing a hotel for the night and then hoping that he can jump on the install first thing in the morning. After a full-day's worth of work on the car (with me probably annoying the hell out of him with all my questions) I'd be back on the road for another 5 hour drive back home.

It's not impossible, but it seems like an awful lot of effort just to install an LSD. Yes, you have to pull the rear suspension apart and a lot of shops don't want to deal with that, but I've got to believe there are some "MBZ boutique" places in the Boston area that could do this job and get it right.

This is about the only place around Boston that I can think of who MIGHT be able to do the install.. http://www.virtualeas.com/index.html

I actually went to a car meet there last year and they seemed very knowledgeable and had an amazing shop.. They also have STAR if that is needed.

Is there one of these for the E63?

Another question..... My 2008 E63 does not have the P030 package so it should not have a LSD yet when I launch really hard both rear tires are spinning hard enough to make the back end drift out a bit. Was the LSD only part of the P030 package or could you get it as an option?

Quote: This is a great deal! You guys should've had these deals when I bought all my mods.

Guys this LSD is directly responsible for my 60ft. times. Before the Quaiffe, my best 60ft. was 1.60 and after install my best time (so far) is 1.49. I had no mod/tune changes. One of my best mods.
Absolutely agree.
