I dunno what the offfical name is --- but you all know what I am referring to... that little pop out tray next to the glove box.

I searched and searched -- and no blueprints ---

I was re-routing my AUX cable.

So, I popped the tray out -- the spring mechanism came out with it --- now I am clueless how this thing goes back in --- Another case of over engineering or i lost a piece.

I pulled out the whole assembly -- trying to figure out the puzzle but I cant solve it -- how to get the tray to slide out automatically.

Oh that sucks. Hate it when that happens. If I pull mine out can I see the spring location? Photo it for you?

thanks for the pics --- but i already got the tray out --- the problem is there is a copper film roll -- this allows the tray to glide out when you push it --- I cant figure out how this copper roll works with the tray ---

Unfortunatly- when i was yanking the tray out -- this thing came out as well --

Anyone know what i am talking about -- or do I need to post a pic?
