!9 inch wheels on W211 E55
just wondering who have upgraded to 19 inch wheels on their W211 E55?
at the moment i have a set of 19inch S03 Bridgestone Tyres, and just contemplateing weather its worth getting a set of 19inch wheels to fit those 19 inch SO3's to the W211 e55
will there be any issues like rubbing? ect...
thanx for your help

I priced both Brabus and AMG 19" wheels for the W211, $10K for the rims, $3K for the tyres. There is no problem with fitting them, but your old man probably won't want to spend the money on the rims. What size S03's have you got?

5k for brabus rims is still a rip off. i know the retail price for a set of 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 is about 5400 USD.... but if you pay retail, you get ripped off..... i got my MB VI for 4200! maybe you should order from here and we could ship it to you!!

Nope - they are the real mccoy. I've had 4 different sets (block II, III, IV and V) in my 97 W202- I think I know what a copy looks like.
Anyhow - back to the thread.

there is always a catch - aren't we just talking about the purchase price here?
Some people will pay retail, in some cases way more than retail. Some will pay considerably less like yourself and some will get better deals. It is how bad you want the product and how much involvement you have had in the industry.
It is not what you know, it is who you know.

hmmm..which motorsport company in LA? F1 ??
I don't think they are that deep with Brabus to begin with. Don't get me wrong - those guys are cool!
Like I said - there is always a catch.

no, not F1. but they do a lot of business with them. F1 installs some of my parts too. D2 can get Brabus under wholesale price, but thats cuz they "parallel import" it.
