I've ordered 2 struts from them in the past and never had issues contacting them. I know I ordered one for next day delivery and I believe that you have to have the order in before 11am EST to get it delivered next day. No issue in getting a credit when shipping the bad strut back either.

Nah, I ordered it within there time bracket. They advertise that all of their orders placed before 3:30 Eastern Time will be shipped same day. Mine was placed 2:30 eastern time. But whatever, sh*t happens.
grantwoodtx, what was wrong with the strut they sold you?

E55 w/ goods, Z32 Project underway
What time did you order? Have to factor in time zone change and time item was ordered.
But I agree, they took a day longer with me also. But, considering I only paid under $350 with coupons, I was not too concerned.

Just curious but did you have anything diagnosed/checked out to determine for certain it is the strut before you ordered it?
Odds are that it is the strut itself, but like Yullie and Bramage both said it could be something else causing the strut to not fill properly (you did mention you didn't get the usual red panel warning on the IC that you get with a blown strut.
Anyway, good luck.

She's back on her feet and running again, even though the CEL went on today. Gonna head it back to the shop and get the codes read.

I am glad you are back on the road. I didn't even think of the linkage, and that is easy to look at. The good news: You have a shock for later, and chances are: You will need it someday. Or, someone else will. Bottom line: You are on the road!!!!

hmm... any luck yet? i recently had my front right changed...i replaced with oem part. i am considering the left side and was thinking of Arnott but ur post is making me think twice... if no luck with Arnott then just order the oem and have the shop install it. good luck..it is a hassle..towing etc.

never mind, i just saw page two..glad everything worked out. i will also check my front left linkage thing as that side does get pretty low when the car is sitting for two days or more..unlike the new side..which is higher.
