'03 E55 orange front side lenses replaced?

Is it possible to replace the orange front side lenses (see pic below) with clear ones? I did this on my Carrera, and it's a much cleaner look. Anybody know where I can get these? The pictures I've seen of european cars don't have these--looks alot cleaner.

You can probably replace the whole piece with one from Europe. That's what MB does to save money.

You can just get the euro bumper strip, which has nothing instead of the orange lens.

Not the clear lenses, but painted to match. Looks clean:

Looks great--just ordered them, and the flat hood emblem.

I think this looks a lot better than painting your current lenses. You should be able to order the euro strips from someone, maybe even evosport. I plan to put the euro strips on when I get my E55.

I've got parktronic, so the sensors are in that part of the bumper, which complicates things (removal/reassembly, and painting). I'll go with the painted lenses--not a perfect solution, but very close.

Also keep in mind that you'll never get a perfect color match unless you have a body shop color match the new paint to your car. On the painted lenses, they're so small that even if they're off a shade or 2, it won't be very noticable. Ordering euro bumper strips and having them properly painted is going to add up.
