I have had that "issue" many times also where a thread shows another page and when I click on it I get brought back to the beginning of the existing page I am on. It is like they add a page but there is nothing on it yet, weird stuff.

Once the last post is posted on a page a new page is automatically created but can't be viewed until the first post is posted on that new page. Pretty simple stuff... unlike these top mounted coolers!

Come on Simon.. show these guys a pic and updated data and I'll tell you one of two things I'm adding to my new build..

Well , Fellas we've waited this long for Evosport and Weistec what's just a little longer I hope . I'm interested in both products and everyone is right its a matter of money vs how much horspower and 55 dominance. I love the new motor TT55 . But the cars are so new and expensive once they depreciate down to a realistic logical price then I'm in

Yeah but you got to admit they do look good and our stock cooler just can't compare performance wise. And even though some might think they're a joke and have lost interest, no one else to my knowledge is making them so all we can do is wait.

I believe both Evosport and Weistec will be close $ vs HP, just depends on who's willing to pay more. Hopefully they both come out before most just move on to the new TT55.

Personally, I'm keeping my SL55 AMG forever so I'll be stuck in the past!

Err...no, the Weistec blower has it's own cooling and is larger, it WILL be superior to the EvoSport coolers. There is NO way anyone will pay 15k for Top Mount Coolers, that's half the price of a decent E55 in the US. It's not like these coolers are a complete package like the Weistec, you still need a pulley, tune etc to get these to their potential so that would be even more money. Who wouldn't get the Weistec if the EvoSports are the same price? These will need to be less than 8k to even be considered.

I would probably agree if my car was still stock. But, since I am modded and between the two products, I am leaning more towards the Evosports coolers. Hopefully, we will not have to wait much longer on Evosport completing their testing and providing a pricing.

There's a sucker born every day. Many fly-by-night tuners have come and gone in the high-end tuner industry. So who do you call in a year when you have a question about their part/software on your car? SOL

I think Evosport may also be spending a lot of effort on off-street purposes like racing and whatnot. Maybe they're just spread too thin.

That's understandable but the least they can do is update their own thread. You don't just start a thread on a new development then just abandon it. That's trolling.

When I said both Evosport and Weistec will be close $ vs HP, I'm talking about a ratio. For example.. Evosport's TMC produces 50HP for $6K and Weistec's S/C produces 100HP for $12K, therefore both packages have a $120/per 1 HP ratio.

Weistec will produce way more than 100hp. Bolt on those intercoolers to a stock car and the supercharger on a stock car. Blower will probably put the car at around 550whp while the intercoolers 450whp which I would say is about 125whp gain for supercharger and 25whp gain for top mounts? Bolt them both on a car with headers, throttle body, bigger pulley, etc and you are probably looking at another 100whp for the supercharger putting the car at around 650whp. The intercoolers equipped car at say 550whp with a 180mm pulley so about 40-50whp over the standard ~500whp a 180mm pulley/header/etc car makes and the supercharger 150whp more? Those would be my guesses so triple the power increase from the blower.

Unfortunately you are probably right at what they will try to price the top mounts at which in my opinion is highway robbery but only time will tell the true results. Or will it?

Oh and I also emailed them asking some questions last week and got no response. Great service there I tell you.

Yeh, I wish there was more update from them. But, I thought there were currently field testing on a members car?

If anyone cares, word on the street is $8k for this setup which is planned to be available sometime this month. Intake/airbox stuff is being finalized (2 separate carbon fiber air boxes up front somewhere in front of the top mounts) still trying to figure out how the tubes are going to run. 50whp was said to be picked up running a high flow foam style filter right on the throttle body.

Not sure if this 50whp is an improvement on the best number the car made while cool (peak number) or if it was the highest number seen somewhere under the curve or just how it was measured though. Suppose people will have to wait for Evosport to make their product release post to hear what they have to say and the full details.

I really hoped they were going to be something reasonable and worthy. I thought about it really hard after hearing this info but don't think I can justify $8k for 50whp. Especially with the added weight of the Weistec eventually coming out which shouldn't be "to far off" this price and deliver a massive power increase over the top mounts. Some of you may feel totally different and are ready to buy when they come out or may already be on a preorder list who knows. I just felt I would be happy with them installed but at the same time be full of regret that I spent that kind of money on intercoolers.

This is a pic with the open filter before the intake tubes were installed to run up to the front of car to carbon fiber air boxes like I mentioned above. They certainly look cool/good finished up (minus air boxes) there is no denying that but I personally can't swallow the asking price for a set of intercoolers.

Well, let's hope that EvoSport is ready to provide LOTS of test data to justify the cost of the kit.

Maybe they will offer some special "introductory" pricing (hint, hint) to get a few units out into the market right away...????

Regardless of the outcome, it will be nice to finally see the completed units after subscribing to this teaser thread all those months ago....

It's sad that companies have the mentality of being happy with only selling 1 or 2 units at ludicrous pricing, rather than selling many at a regular price

They have that, it is $7k and are saying they have 7 out of 10 slots filled already sounds like a clever attempt at pressuring people to "get in on the savings" with 3 slots left. Curious if there is any truth to it or not. Sooooo how does 7 grand sound, does that make you feel any more incline to buy? Not me.
