Yeah!to have left it open would have sucked pretty much lol, making that hood and making the lines 100% was a real pain in the ***.But thats what i like...making something nobody else has.
Thanks. They do make it look better but I cant take any credit for them as I failed and couldn't handle the heat when left to choose which new rims. Very thankful and lucky these became available.
Very good pick up with the stance and it definitely is the the angle of the pavement combined with the very inexperienced photographer (me). I have attached one taken from another area and looks a bit better but will get some on an flat area soon.
I had a quick look at yours and its a beauty. If I could have chosen my color it would have been white. I was going to ask "builtbyfood" but didn't get the chance but while I've got you can I ask how hard of a decision was it to remove the bonnet (hood) emblem. I want to but again struggling with the decision.
thanks again. Just been out looking at it and even very much leaning towards it going. Haven't seen one physically yet so that will be my next task. Just very hard down this part of the world but hopefully I will come across one shortly.

Looks good brother. A lot of these kits just look but I gotta say this looks unique while still retaining some dignity with solid lines. Wheels look great also.

That doesn't sound right at all unless you were trying to bring them out flush with the fender?
The E63 wheels offset was 57 and the E55 wheels were 39. I used the wheel offset calculator and I originally tried to just install them but they would rub on the inside fender.
E55 and E63 wheels use the same offset. Those specs sound like C63 wheel offsets, which is why you had issues.
I guess your right, the guy who sold them to me on eBay said they were E63 but I just looked it up and your right. I guess I got misadvetised. Thanks for the correction!
Sorry for your problem, but at least you got them mounted. Just watch those spacers and make sure they don't loosen up or break a stud.
Thanks for the advice, I have been rechecking to make sure they are torqued down correctly and so far so good. Now I'm wondering how anyone could sell wheels and not even know which car they came off...
