E55 Picture Thread
I lived in Madison for 7 years and just recently moved to Boston. Did you get your car through Zimbrick? Talk to John at the service department and he will hook you up with some nice KLEEMANN stuff! By the way, which side do you live in? I've lived in the west side for the past 6 years (Hilldale, West Towne area)
I am learning more and more about both cars (and the ML 500) everyday and this board is great for information so I don’t have to ask newbie questions.
Her S-55 is a beautiful car, but I wouldn’t trade for anything. I do drive hers from time to time but feels quite heavy despite having more HP.
Thanks again for such a great resource with all of your contributions...
Billy

BTW, that's one funny BK pic!!

I think Zimbrick has only recently become a KLEEMANN dealer and it is mostly the efforts of some owners that pushed John to look at the option of bring the big K to Madison. There are competent techs in the service department and they are usually pretty good about taking care of my car even mine was just a C320 back then. The shop foreman Nick is also a die hard MB tuner fan and he commented that he wanted to drop a KLEEMANN blower in an ML430 just to test it out
Speaking of winter driving, some of the drivers are so stupid in Madison that I'm scared to drive in a storm. Last year, some ****head in their CRV all of sudden decided to stop dead in the middle of University Avenue (right by the VA and UW hospitals) and turn on their friggin' blinkers to change lane!? I slammed on my brakes and ABS kicked in to save the day. I managed to stop a couple inches short of slamming into that darn CRV's butt. Drive safe in Wisconsin, some people are just stupid.....

That's called mods
Wait till you see the CF door lock pins. The plaque is an old school design from long time ago. It was a replica made of solid metal, which is of superb quality.
The silver sticker in the center console was bought from Japan.
These were relatively cheap mods, costing me a total of less than $100.00
