it's saturday morning. They have three blocks shut down in Walnut Creek. I posted a thread up but no one really responded. There's only one other E55 and an E63 going. A bunch of Ferraris, Bentleys, and the new Bugatti will be there. Search Auto's on the Ave it should come up. It's all free.

Yeah when I bought it in December it came with that grill, I want to get another one but I can't decide on what. Thinking about just buying the stock one which I prefer over this one. Too many stars lol.

To OP...I've been where you have been. I used to have the big star grill but found the subtlety of the OEM grill (albeit all black on my black car) far more menacing. In the end, if you like the look...keep it. Otherwise...sweet ride.

Howdy. Brand newb here. Just picked up an 08 E63 2 weeks ago. LOVE the car. I've seen the light. I came from a 2010 Subaru WRX.
Just yesterday put a set of TSW matt bronze 18" Nurburgring's on it. I'd like to go lower with the stance but based on the Renntech DLM threads I've read it doesn't seem too reliable and I DO NOT want to mess around with AMG's handiwork. I think I'll just drive it for a year and see if I still want to do mods. I over-modded my Soob so I don't want to go down that road again. Made it damn near undriveable
The only other thing I did was reset the ECU by doing the foot-on-the-gas on/off ignition deal. Woke it up a little.
I got a screamin' deal on this car. It was a 60k mile lease return, one owner car in MINT cond. I paid less than 40k. Bought a 5 year/100,000 engine/transmission warranty for some piece of mind.
Glad to be a Benz owner!
