I see that apparently some W211's have charcoal filters inside the cabin and a dust filter in the engine while some only have a combination filter in the engine bay. How do I know what my car has without removing the glove box to find out? It's an 05 E55.

If you have a digital hvac panel which comes standard on E500's and E55's you have charcoal filters. It has a button with a white arrow going to a clear arrow on the right side of the panel. E320's have the combination filter in the engine bay but you can use the combination one on the E500's and E55's as well for overkill filtration.
This is mine ( hard to see in this pic, sorry ).

It's the orange light that's on in the pic, next to the passenger side hot/cold adjustment

My car is definitely different. Pr cars are the same as US vehicles. We cannot import vehicles from anywhere else.Originally Posted by AMG_RL
