autolite or bosch plugs

Going to change plugs soon searched but could not find any info. Local parts house has the autolite iridum XP5325 and bosch 9652 both in stock. Was wanting to see if anyone has use the autolite? Looks like the correct spec and fitment, I can see the bosch only has a 3/4 reach so would prefer not to use that one.

Any feedback is welcomed, will order them online if needed from ngk or correct bosch.

Use the one(s) the OM tells you to use only. Don't cheap out on plugs.

go with OEM specs, not with whats on the catalog of your local auto parts store.

NAPA usually has them. Look online find some stores and call around to see who has enough stock. I think the 9652 and the part above is the same plug. Check Bosch ws.

NGK are usually the OEM. Very broad heat range

NGK has worked well in every application I have used. I won't use any other brand of plug any more. Very valid comment on the heat range ...

Yup ... LFR7AIX NGK Iridium IX spark plugs ... a forum genius recommended these. They are 1 step colder. I have seen them for as low as $105 for a set of 16!!

Was looking at the bosch website the 9652 only 3/4" reach while the FR6MPP332 has the 1" reach. From reading the getting as close to the 1" reach is prob the most important aspect, correct?

Your move. I dont keep these equivalences in my linkedin page.

Follow OM or check with

www.mymercedesparts.com

With VIN number for proper current recommendation. Call Jay if there is any question.

NGKs are good too and often MB oem. Remember their heat range is the inverse of the Bosch.

Agree with OP that mod engines like a step colder plug.

Are there other situations when one wants a colder plug?
