Leo's e63 Build
Hello fellow members.
My name is Leo and I have been lurking on this site quite sometime, and about little more than month ago, I finally became a proud owner of AMG.
I have to mention that it is one of the best car that I owned, and very much enjoying it from day one.
And I just wanted to share my midding progress with fellow AMGers.
When I first pick up the car, it looked good, but like missing something...
It's almost good enough, but not really 100% the way I wanted it.
Here's how it looked.
I bought the car with a plan to keep it stock and just daily drive the car.
However, my addiction to modding found me once again
and before I knew, I started researching and getting ideas.
Then... It all started
The first mod was Extended warranty.
Just wanted to make sure that I am covered, I talked with Bruce@BecksImports (THX! ) and got 4yr/50k warranty.
Then I got tints. 3m Color Stable 55% front 20% rears.
I think the film looks great with my car. But I might be biased.
Then I got the H&R lowering module.
I liked the fact the it is P&P, and from reliable company.
I was gonna wait til everything is done, but couldn't live with 4x4 look anymore so I put it in today.
Before..
And After...
The final drop will be set when I get more parts in.
So, Here is a teaser of what's coming,
I have decided what I'm going to do, and soon will make a list of full mods that I'm doing for this car, and post a photoshopped picture of what it will look like.
But...
Let me just say that is it so hard to wait when you have parts full of garage like this.
Or this...
And many more.... Like Evosport, Wald, etc...
This thread will be keep updated (About weekly). So please check back and enjoy!

Evoguy - I agree!! It looks much better with drop, and now can't wait to put my wheels on.
tbal - Thanks, I love your car! and was my first choice, but now this color is growing on me.

So here's photoshopped version of what it will look like (90% )
I think it will look good along with subtle contrast in color, interior, and sound system.
Anyways... Here's how it looks. Enjoy and any comments and suggestions are welcome!!!

Me neither.. I can't wait til it's done.
More stuff coming my way... Here is couple.
In the mean time, I did lil stuff like leds on license plate, foot well, glove box, vanity mirror, etc.
BTW, Does any one know how to take out the dome bulbs?
I'm having hard time figuring out.
P.S: I wanna thank Rob@Vividracing and HRE for customer service.
I was missing valves and they shipped it out on the same day.
I will keep updating as the process goes.

Great Project. Yeah, you got bit by the Go Fast Crack Pipe !!! I wish I had heard about your build earlier, I would have bought some UPS stock !!
Moved to Atlanta from Princeton, NJ. Hate that you are required to mount that front plate.
Good Luck with your project and thanks for sharing your pics. I just had my grille blacked out and the paint shop painted the mercedes emblem on the grille because they thought having two emblems with the flat badge on the hood was too much. It came out great. Just a thought.
So, Princeton orange calipers !!! Nice.

Thank you so much for the support and comments
Here's lil update, and I have few stuff coming today and tomorrow.
I can't wait to get home and check out what came for me haha.
In the mean time,
Here's couple shots I took at the super market right before this process...
side markers,
Mirror leds...
Smoked Tails, Ready to SMOKE!!
After First coat
Hmm.. too light I think...
Then couple more coats later,
And the Caliper...
Sanded down
Masked& self etching primered...
The Color Choice?
Audi Solar Orange Base...
PPG Vibrance Clears with sparkles.
Should be done by tonight.
And Finally a Teaser for next week or so...
Hmm I wonder what that is?
What weights 4eb in such a big box?

Thanks, I DID prepare as soon as got the car. lol I still have alot of stuff that needs to be on the car.
Update:
Taillight and side markers and blinkers on the mirror came out really nice.
But...
Not sure about the caliper. Looks too flat to me.
might redo it tomorrow. We will see..
