We just scored a 35 ft camper this year. 
Made some road test runs today and need more fuel. So car is going back up on stands tonight. Car still has that AMG feel but the power and sound at WOT is insane!

The pretty big trick up their sleeve is probably an E55 with a different supercharger on it that has been getting tested. Think I remember reading a very brief reference to the possibility in a thread a month or two ago. Don't think anyone caught on to it though or revisited the comment.

Yes , me too but the CF5`s were not going to be ready from the time I started the build. Unlike the 1/4 mile,,,,weight reduction does not help much in the mile. The CF or wind drag becomes your weight and power robber. We are talking about driving through a CAT 6 hurricane or small tornado. Things blow off cars, sun roofs fly off from pressure changes and other weird stuff. Under body panels come off all the time too.

I'm going to be coming down Friday and Saturday. Haven't decided on accommodations yet. Friend I'm going with has a veritable plethora of marriott points from working in Midland for a year plus and living in a hotel out there so he suggested finding one of the partner hotels so we can stay for free. I know that Corpus is like an hour from beeville and probably has more hotel options.
I decided bringing the car trailer down would only help if someone breaks their **** but towing that thing for hours on end isn't exactly my idea of a great time so I'd rather bring the E55 or one of the other AMGs. Hell, everything but the C63 is comfortable to sleep in if I get hammered friday night and don't want to drive to Corpus or to a hotel in beeville [I assume beeville should be pretty booked up]
