Ok, the wagon went from 12.0@117 to 11.5@123. What all was changed? It looks like a possible street tires run in the first run to some drag radials on the other run and the grill is missing on 2nd run. Did you add race gas or do something different to gain 6mph in the traps and the 1/2 second quicker time?

Hi

The first run was on street tires and was running 97 fuel which is pump fuel in the UK,
The other run was on MT tires and was running 97/99 pump fuel I also took out the air filters and grill for better air.
The main problem in the runs is traction it is hard to put the power down as you can understand.

I will be running the 1/4 again on the 16th on a different track as at santapod there is a little uphill. I will also fix my leaking headers add a rear ice box and get better drag tires I will keep you updated depending on the weather

Also I will get rid off the lowering links and put my renntech lowing module in for better suspension.

What was the difference in your 60ft times going from the street tires to drag radial setup on the later run and also what was the difference in mph in the 1/8 mile? Still amazed at picking up 6mph by switching to the drag radials and the slightly better fuel added in to the existing fuel, and then the filters being taken out. I am assuming the better traction off the line probably bumped your 1/8 speed from like 91mph to like 94 and then of course carried over to top end trap as well at the 1/4.

That is crazy, 1.85 on the drag radials and 1.87 on the street tires, nearly identical.

My rear tires street tires where 285 and the drag tires where 255 on size.

I do alot of street racing and the road tires do well maybe it because the wagon is more heavy?

Just so that I can copy you, what is the actual size of your rear tires? And, is it on stock size rims?

'03 E55 Estate
BRABUS786,

Would you mind sending me a PM with some sort of cost estimation for the parts/labour involved in getting to a similar level of power (say 500-540 rwhp) as you did with your E55 estate? I am on a market for E55 (around mid next year) and the tuning would be on the cards for winter 2012/2013.

Cheers

Ps. I am in the UK too, London

Custom map by Eurocharged and viezu

582.2 rwhp
653 Rwtq

Was surprised to get these figures
