Got some exra $ and want more ponies...

he could prob even sell the shorties and reduce his all-in LTH cost
To me this sort of discussion is always a dollar per HP thing. Pulley plus tune = $1,500 for 60-70HP. Full headers with install, $3,500 for 70HP. So $2K more for the same HP.

Here's the sequence approach I took:
1. K&N's
2. Johnson Pump
3. ECU Tune Stage 1
3. 180mm pulley
4. ECU tune stage 2
5. LTH with full cat-back replacement
6. ECU tune stage 3
This maximized my dollar and HP gains. All I have to do now is air scoops and python tubes.

I'm just a humble kid and it sounds like unless you get the correct TB, and install correctly, you can run into problems?
The pulley concept I understand. Larger pulley more boost. The headers I understand as well. Combined, let the EC geniuses tune it and you go fast. I don't think I can source a proper TB and install without running into some reported issues with the mod...
Does anyone with a solid reputation here have a complete working legitimate TB + parts for sale?
Also, I noticed some of you guys are referring to TB's as OEM parts. Does the 82mm TB come on other MBZ cars? Are the "OEM" parts better then aftermarket parts, and what car in the MBZ line up would have the TB that I want?
Thanks guys for all the advice!!

I need to get the TB reset instructions ... I didn't get any from you guys. I'll search the forums too. Also read about some bucking issue some folks are experiencing ... any comments on this?

bucking, is either a vacuum leak or the tb needs to be reset.
