BTW- the ONLY thing changed were the heads?
Sorry my mistake on the telling you the prior numbers were on the surgery thread. I will let exotic chime in with that information

Wait I thought the heads were just for better fuel economy?

OK guys I'm a little behind on this, so what other mods besides the heads produced this power? Is this just the heads without pulley, tune etc or is this in conjunction with other mods?

awesome power!!! can you guys find a local dynojet so we can see how she does on one of those dynos? I bet it will be even higher!!!

no one has asked how I got peak hp at 6400 rpms yet with my a/f in the low 10s

I guess the kleemann cams dont do anything up top end lol,add kleemann cams and you will break 620whp.

The only issue might be boost blow by with the bigger heads and adding cams might make you lose power so you need to reaserch that a bit.

I'm sure the overlap on the cams is too small for boost blowby.

Powerful numbers! I have a question though, on this particular dyno is the Eng Power and Eng Torque the same as rwhp and rwtq?

Yes , this is a rear wheel dyno, not an engine dyno. You would have to pull your engine out to dyno at the crankshaft. So this is normal labeling for a dyno. This is the same dyno I have used for 3 years and many of us use. It is at LSX dyno tuning and is a great place to dyno, have fun and get fresh air.

so is this with the same pulley or the new 200mm you were gona run?Could you please pretty please find a local dynojet and do a run in 4th gear so I can compare it to my dynojet numbers.I know dynos read different even using the same dyno but Im trying to get them as close as possible to see what gains I would get on my car.

Honestly how are you really going to compare that much though? He has bigger long tube headers to your Kleemans, he has a 185 pulley to your 180 (or 178 whatever you want to call it) and a big rear tank that will help keep temps down more which will allow for more power among the different dyno being used even though it would be the same brand, so to me there are to many different variables. I would simply look at what the car made before the heads and then after the heads. They said there was a recent before dyno so the weather should be very similar and I am pretty sure all that was changed is the heads as of now (still waiting to put the 200mm pulley on).

Thanks, I should have known since it was your car. I know how an engine dyno works too, but was just curious because I've seen some where the hp and tq numbers are adjusted for drivetrain loss which is clearly not the case here. Best of luck at the Texas mile!

I will post all my information in a few weeks, as mentioned before. It will be a big long book full of info. Going back to July 29th baseline and on.

Eurocharged is getting ready to tune out the car soon, so everyone can get caught up. I did not want to even post dyno numbers, until at least after the car was tuned but did anyway, as so many people are asking. So that is all for now, as I still have a lot of work to do over the next few weeks.

As mentioned, my I/C pump is not working and has not been working for a while. That is a must fix, as no power in the world can overcome that much of a flow loss.

BTW, this dyno runs close to the range that other dyno jets make in Hosuton. Not exact but by no means a ball buster. :")(

Chevy Camaro
Guess it is time to make the pulls past 6400 since these new heads love to keep pulling up in the rpm band. See where it starts to fall off.

Still lots more to come on this car based on what I know is being done. Brooke you continue to push the envolope for the 55 crowd.
