2006 E55 BEAST
If I had the cash I'd go for it if I could get a high mileage warranty on it. I wish I could keep my car forever, but unfortunately the warranty will eventually run out and I can only sell so many of my organs before I won't be able to afford the upkeep anymore.

Beautiful, virgin car but no way is it worth that much. That's almost what I bought my '09 E63 for, and my car only had 18k miles.

Yeah, they've got it priced up against '09 E63 cars. No way it will sell at anywhere near that price. I'm skeptical that it will even bring $40K, given that it's out of warranty. Maybe if it were CPO. But it's being sold by a Ford dealer...

The sales team probably lined it up against their prized 5.0 and after the beat down ensued priced accordingly. That and the fact that it is a MB, because they clearly didn't go off of the books for pricing.

I remember calling on this car back in July. It's the dealership owner's car. I didn't even get to talk to him, the front desk lady told me everything i needed to know, which was that he was not coming off the price.

It looks to have been the dealer's possession since day one according to the carfax; Tasca Auto Group... so Im sure they wont mind holding on it to it for the max profit.

This is what they told me when I asked if the price was a typo.
The Mercedes you inquired about is one of our owners personal vehicle. To be honest he really does not want to sell it, and the price on the site is not a typo, if he were to sell the price on the web is what he would like for it.

If he thinks he can get much for it he should stick to selling his FORDs, I dont even think a MB dealer that CPO'd the car would have it that high maybe 40s. If he owns the dealership I doubt money is an issue why is he worried about taking a hit?

If it is owned by Bob Tasca , he doesn't need the money...
Tasca Ford was undoubtedly the prominent dealer in Ford Racing history. The original Tasca Ford dealership site at 777 Taunton Avenue in East Providence, Rhode Island opened in 1953. Master salesman Bob Tasca quickly made it the number Ford dealer in the country. Tasca fielded it's own successful drag racing team throughout 60's, employing driver Bill Lawton. Tasca was leading performance dealer, and Bob Tasca was instrumental in the creation of the 428 Cobra Jet Mustang. At the urging of Lee Iacocca, Tasca sold his Ford dealership in 1971 and opened a Lincoln-Mercury store just down the road in Seekonk, Massachusetts. The former Tasca Ford store became Fournier Ford, which operated until 1994. Tasca then repurchased the closed dealership and quickly reopened Tasca Ford, which remains open in 2008. Bob Tasca was instrumental in bringing Ford and John Force together in 2000, and Tasca Ford is currently one of the many sponsors on Force's fleet of Mustang funny cars. In 2008 Bob's grandson, Bob Tasca III, entered the NHRA Nitro funny car series with a GT500 Mustang sponsored by Ford Motor Co. (4/13/08)
