gunmetal HRE547s (Yah or nay)
Purchased a used set of HRE 547s 19s from here. Ended up getting them painted gunmetal. What do you guys think? Debating since they are done, should i just wait for summer to put them on or put them on now through the winter? Going on my pewter E55AMG

I think they'll look good, but you should have left the outers polished IMO.

Did you spray paint those? It looks spray painted with over-spray on the tires.

After seeing Vazha thread of spray painting his 547s black, i went and tried it out. The tires are worn out and will be replaced with fresh ones next few weeks. Debating on what tires, hankook or just the cont dws for them. If the paint doesnt hold up, i will end up sending them to Renntech55 or B Gorman to do them.

Reminds me of when I helped spray paint a friends Camaro a long time ago. It looked like **** and we all got high. LOL

Yea, that was probally around highschool and it was a Camaro! Not a bnz and HREs. Huge fail IMO!

Great tires for the $. Excellent dry grip and solid in the rain/winter as well ...


As far as the wheels, I had to look at the pic 3x before it actually sunk in that you painted HRE wheels! Duuuuuuuuuuudeeee, bad idea!
