I'm going to go test drive an srt-8 charger and when the salesmen asks me if I want to trade my car in on it I am going to pretend he is the editor of C & D and kick the crap out of him.

But the question remains would you buy a Charger SRT8 or the E63 AMG?
For me this is a no brainer, despite the Charger SRT8 coming ahead in this particular test, I would never buy it. AMG all the way for me. Mercedes engineered this car to be the best that it could be, and it's still hold true three years later. it may not be the best today, but there are still alot of cars that can't hold a candle to it, in performance, power, handling, and style.

In this latest comparison, there was opinion that the E63 harkened back to an era when MB wasn't focusing on handling dynamics. Is that not true? The article even mentions that today's AMG cars have much improved steering and twisty road capability.
