911 Turbo 2011 vs E55 modded

Find a way to hide 600 pounds of sandbags in that 911 and you'll feel happier about your mods. Use 700 if you have pano. Until then, they're two different cars so don't let it put a damper on your mods.

If it is a 2011, I don't think it is a Tip. I don't think they even make one. If it has an auto mode, it is a PDK, which is deadly for you.
The thing you're all really forgetting is traction. 500HP+ and AWD is a killer combination.
My 996TT is fast. The 997TT is wicked fast.
Love my E55 and it is a real sleeper and can kill many cars, but be realistic.

i've had both 2008 997 turbo 6 speed and an 06 e55...theres absolutely no comparison between the two. the turbo (fabspeed exhaust) will pull on the e55 at any speed, especially from a dig. Its crazy neck snapping fast, tons of torque on both.
Love my 55 though, sadly no mods yet.

A friend of mine just got a 911 turbo 2011, we went in a back halley and did 2 runs up till 120km/h so 65-70mph then had to break cuz end of road.
He got me by a cars length... I dint have esp off and there was some sand on the road and the road was sort of uneven, but still 1 car length... Pretty. and... Should I just give up on modding my car? i know we are 3X the weight, trunk + 2 extra seats... but I figured u know I wouldn't get raped... I was thinking about more mods but I figure at this point its useless... I can kill most sedans I encounter , most americans except maybe a modded cts v or highly highly modded muscle, but all srt8 and m3's m5's c63's , evo-10 which is mainly what I run into... I should just stop wasting $ because i wont kill a turbo I suppose

I read the date. Read the replies and added my 2 cents. If he did sell it, good stuff. Hope someone else picked it up and ran into 10s lol the only thing bothering me is my car is getting worked on and I cant drive it.

Neighbor has a 997 Turbo (6spd, non S, non PDK etc.). Stock he ran 11.1 @ 123. When I spoke to him a few months back, the car was still stock. Now, he put some crazy looking orange wheels, the car sounds like a raped ape, and all you hear is/are the turbo(s) as he's slowly rolling through the community. I'd venture a guess and say he's got a single-digit 1/4 mile car in his hands.
911 Turbos, all gens, are just nasty for the generations they were/are in.
It's a different kind of character for a car. For instance, E55s pull like a frieght train, from a dig, mid range, and up top. But the 911s just don't stop pulling! Above 100, they are a force to reckoned with, especially these 997s! Think C6 Z06 realm.

There will always be someone faster than you... Don't sweat it.
Besides, there are very few 4 door sedans that can beat even a stock E. I wouldn't be upset that a sports car beat a 4 door luxury car.
