Lamin-X installed (pics inside)
I thought I would post a few pics of my light covers. The install was really easy and anyone should be able to do it. A hair dryer or heat gun are pretty much a must though.
The only thing I didn't like was the fact that the fog light covers were too small for the lens. There is a small ring of un-tinted clear all the way around.
Here is how the kit looked. It has everything you need to do the insall minus the heat gun and razor.
backing removed
Apply a light coat of water to the adhesive
Lay the film avoiding wrinkles or bubbles (heat gun and patience)
All done

Is it the only way to tint my headlights/tails? Would it be easier to just stop by any tint shop who does tint for windows and ask em to cut small pieces of tint and apply on my lights?

Directly from the supplier online
Yes, just water. This isn't like installing window film. The instructions are very clear and easy to follow.

I'm sure you could do that or you could even buy that tint in a can stuff and spray them. I went with these because they are 3 mil for protection and they are also gas permeable and self healing. The kits are cheap and come in several colors.

The jury is still out on mine as well. They say the cloudiness and small bubbles will go away after some warm days. We will see. Mine are all stuck at least though
