I'm surprised the 458 faired as well as it did against the GTR. I know that surface very well and it is really slippery, despite being concrete.
Surprised they lined the Lotus up with left side tires on the paint as well.

It was fun to watch. All sub-13, even the BMW and Lotus. Meaningless, of course, given the vagaries of the drivers.
A couple choices that surprised me. The first was the 1M instead of the M3. Neither would be in the hunt, so it didn't matter.
The big one was the Z06. Why the heck wouldn't they have a ZR1? Still would have been one of the cheaper cars in the race and would have been able to give the GT-R a run for its money.
Always compromises, I suppose.

They should have run the 911 GT2 instead of the GT3. It would have been a world of difference in the outcome. I agree that they should have run the ZR1 and not the Z06? Seriously, no Lambos but they ran a Caymen and a 1M????

Hammer Down just think that (even though on radials) your stock E55 would have been faster than some supercars in this video if you had ran the same run you did at 11.7 
I realize it was on radials but still, a four door car that weighs 4000+ pounds. Also think that Loco's E55 would have killed all these cars in this race I know if the GT-R is even slightly modded it would do 10s but still, a FOUR DOOR car. The E55 is still after all these years a competitor and if they came our with more dedicated tuning and mods, it could be even faster. Plus, it would still be the underdog....a very fast underdog 
I do agree about the ZR1 and a Lamborghini, I can't believe they would put an Evora in this race, when I saw it I was like
I do get the GT3 RS though, even though the GT2 would have been way faster, the GT3 is possibly the best Porsche after the Carrera GT. Anyone who doubts this, just drive one after driving a turbo. Believe me it grows on you and you just fall in love with it
