ok so it's been smelling like gas inside for the last 4-5 days and the power has been getting worse... like my gear are switching all funny, in C mode it's starting in first like it was on sport my tranny his now really slow... also from 4th to 5th im accelarating and at times there is no more power actually to that point that earlier today it I was pressing the pedal and the car was down revving really scary **** ill tell u, I still was able to drive 100miles today and get home but this is scaring me... I just changed the fuel pump , could it be my tranny I mean I cant see that my mods is killing it... please do give me some clues so when I go see the mechanic I can be prepared...

I'm not too sure but it sounds like your tranny is slipping.

I would check to see if you are leaking fuel and/or the pump might of been installed incorrectly or there might just be something wrong with the pump.
As for the tranny acting all weird...I'd say the tranny might be slipping or the TCU might need to be reprogrammed.

Might be WAY OFF, but is glycol contamination possible in this situation?

probably fuel pump, if you can smell fuel check under the rear seat, common fuel pump leak could be starving the car of fuel hence the erraticness

I just find it weird that the pump would die again so soon...
